GALAX ADRIATIC is an alkaline and detergent system oil for low-speed crosshead diesel engines. Alkalinity is required to neutralize all acids in the system, while detergency maintains system cleanliness. It can also be used for lubricating stern tubes (SIMPLEX and WAUKESHA) and their bearings, gears operating under medium loads, and some types of air compressors.
